Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and dispatch drivers to appropriate locations according to customer requests, specifications, and needs.
- Monitor driver routes and provide support to ensure timely deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and team members to resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of dispatched calls, driver logs, and delivery statuses.
- Use dispatching software and tools to optimize routing and improve efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and transportation laws.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in dispatching or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in using dispatch software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes quickly.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and logistics operations is a plus.
