Junior Planning Officer

Job Description:

Minaye PLC is looking for a motivated Junior Planning Officer to support production planning, resource coordination, and workflow optimization in our furniture manufacturing facility. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or entry-level professionals with a background in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering to develop their skills in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and monitoring production schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
• Support coordination between procurement, workshop, and logistics teams for material and labor planning.
• Help analyze production data to identify inefficiencies and suggest improvements.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in planning activities.
• Assist in preparing reports on key production metrics (output, waste, downtime).
• Learn and utilize ERP/MRP systems for inventory and workflow tracking.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 0-2 years in production planning, manufacturing, or operations (internship or academic projects in relevant fields are a plus).
• Skills:
  • Basic proficiency in MS Excel (knowledge of AutoCAD or planning software is an advantage).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Eagerness to learn lean manufacturing principles.
• Attributes: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
