Job Description:
Minaye PLC is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Quality Officer to support quality control and assurance processes in our furniture manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining product standards, inspecting materials, and ensuring compliance with quality specifications. This is a great opportunity for entry-level professionals to grow in the field of quality management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in inspecting raw materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Support the Quality Control team in documenting defects, deviations, and non-conformities.
- Help monitor production processes to identify potential quality issues and report findings.
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality-related problems.
- Maintain quality inspection records and prepare basic reports for review.
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality policies in the workplace.
Qualifications:
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Wood Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 0-2 years in quality control, manufacturing, or a related role (internship or academic projects in quality assurance are a plus).
- Skills:
- Basic understanding of quality control principles and inspection techniques.
- Attention to detail and strong observational skills.
- Ability to use basic measuring tools (calipers, gauges, etc.).
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, especially Excel).
- Attributes: Team player, eager to learn, and committed to maintaining high-quality standards.
