Jr. Devops Engineer

About the Job

Pitron Tech Solutions is hiring a Junior DevOps Engineer with 1 to 3 years of experience to support cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and server operations. Azure DevOps and Docker are mandatory. The role is onsite in Addis Ababa and requires good communication skills.

About You

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, or related roles.
• Azure DevOps: Strong experience in Azure DevOps, including pipelines and repositories.
• Docker: Experience in building images and troubleshooting containers.
• Linux Basics: Basic knowledge of Linux administration and shell commands.
• CI/CD Concepts: Understanding of CI/CD concepts, release management, and deployment strategies.
• Version Control: Familiarity with Git version control, including pull requests and code review workflows.
• Server Management: Understanding of server management, networking basics, and security fundamentals.
• Monitoring Tools: Basic experience with monitoring and logging tools.
• Communication Skills: Good communication skills in English and the ability to write clear documentation.
• Onsite Work: Willingness to work onsite in Addis Ababa.

Nice to Have

• Kubernetes Exposure: Exposure to Kubernetes and Helm.
• Automation Tools: Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or similar automation tools.
• Node.js Support: Experience supporting Node.js services, especially NestJS.
• Frontend Frameworks: Familiarity with React or Flutter projects.
• Advanced Cloud Knowledge: Cloud knowledge beyond basics such as Azure networking or Azure App Services.
