Job Summary:

The Junior Technical Purchaser will assist in sourcing, procuring, and managing mechanical parts, equipment, and materials required for the company’s operations. The role requires close collaboration with the engineering and production teams to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and procure mechanical parts, equipment, and materials.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain quotes and negotiate terms.
• Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, deliveries, and inventory.
• Ensure timely procurement to support production schedules.
• Assist in monitoring supplier performance and resolving procurement issues.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams on technical specifications.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in procurement, preferably in a mechanical or industrial environment.
• Knowledge of mechanical components, materials, and technical specifications.
• Strong organizational, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic procurement software.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
