Job Requirement
- Qualification: Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Degree in Law from a recognized university.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of banking experience, including at least 1 year served as Legal Officer I or equivalent role in the legal service area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal support and advisory services on banking operations and transactions.
- Review, draft, and interpret legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable banking laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Handle legal documentation for loans, securities, guarantees, and collateral arrangements.
- Support litigation processes by coordinating with external legal counsel.
- Conduct legal research and provide opinions on complex legal matters.
- Monitor regulatory updates and advise management on legal implications.
- Assist in resolving disputes involving customers, employees, or third parties.
- Maintain accurate records of legal files, cases, and correspondence.
- Support risk mitigation by identifying potential legal exposures.
Required Skills:
