Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for creating and overseeing fleet safety, processes, budgeting, inventory management, and repairs
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle repairs and maintenance activities
- Ensure availability of safe and reliable vehicles to meet operational requirements
- Conduct fleet evaluations to ensure maintenance standards are consistently met
- Work with sales and delivery teams to establish efficient service routes using company-provided vehicles
- Identify and monitor equipment sent to external service providers for repair
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies and procedures
- Provide proactive and timely responses to vehicle and staff operational needs
- Execute preventive maintenance and ongoing system troubleshooting for fleet vehicles
Job Requirements
Qualification
- BA Degree in Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field
Experience
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in transportation or fleet management roles
Skills & Competencies
- Intermediate-level computer skills
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Good knowledge of logistics and fleet coordination
- Understanding of road transport regulations and laws
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and ensure operational efficiency
