Company Overview

Kegna Beverages Share Company is under formation and aims to engage in the Beverage Industry of Ethiopia, which is currently untapped yet fast-growing.

The company was officially endorsed on 04 March 2017 by the Public Private Partnership Council of the Oromia Regional State. The promoter committee has been actively involved in fulfilling local legal requirements and preparing for the official launch.

Kegna Beverages was officially launched on 01 April 2017 at the Oromo Cultural Center, attended by various stakeholders including government officials and investors. Multiple studies, including feasibility and site assessments, are finalized and ready for investment.

Role Description

The Maintenance Planner is responsible for facilitating continuous improvement in plant reliability through:

• TPM development and maintenance/project planning
• Maintenance development and scheduling for Packaging, Brewing & Utilities
• Ensuring optimum utilization of plant, spare parts, and personnel

Responsibilities

1. Planning of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual maintenance activities.
2. Providing plans for corrective, preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance activities.
3. Developing and clarifying the scope of work, coordinating manufacturing windows, and evaluating resources.
4. Planning for effective maintenance, calibration, and repair of equipment.
5. Creating and maintaining a calendar to manage all PMs over a one-year cycle.
6. Conducting scheduled audits and providing information for optimization.
7. Ensuring CMMS, QMS, ERP, EMS, and KAIZEN principles are in place.
8. Monitoring the plan on the planned maintenance outage for effectiveness.
9. Making recommendations to the maintenance engineer and packaging team for unforeseen work.
10. Preparing spare parts and resources for preventive maintenance.
11. Generating system improvement ideas and following their implementation.
12. Performing other duties assigned by the immediate leader.
13. Ensuring autonomous maintenance and asset care are in place.
14. Continuously improving plans to reduce overall planned maintenance outage.
15. Working effectively in teams and contributing to self and team development.
16. Scheduling development and improvement training.
17. Maintaining 5S in areas of responsibility.
18. Performing tasks assigned by the Maintenance Manager.

Education

• MSC/BSC in Electro-Mechanical Engineering or related fields.

Experience

• 4-6 years of relevant experience.

Skills

• MS Excel, Word, and Microsoft Project skills.
• Superior knowledge of SAP/CMMS/ERP usage.
