Job Description:
We are looking for a creative and results-driven Marketing Specialist to lead our marketing efforts, enhance brand visibility, and engage diverse audiences. The ideal candidate will develop and execute marketing strategies to promote Ubuntu School of Life’s programs, events, and initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and community engagement.
• Manage and grow Ubuntu School of Life’s social media presence across platforms.
• Create engaging content in Amharic, Afaan Oromo, and English, including graphics, blog posts, newsletters, and promotional materials.
• Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, email marketing, and paid advertisements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to promote events, workshops, and special initiatives.
• Analyze marketing performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Engage with the community to build strong relationships and foster partnerships.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in digital marketing, content creation, or social media management.
• Fluency in Amharic and Afaan Oromo (both written and spoken) is a must.
• Strong writing, communication, and storytelling skills.
• Ability to design marketing materials using tools like Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of SEO, email marketing, and analytics tools is a plus.
• Passion for education, community development, and personal growth.
