Job Summary

The role is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership for the full goods, raw materials, and empty container warehouses across all company sites. This position ensures seamless coordination between warehousing activities and other supply chain functions, promotes standardized processes, drives operational efficiency, and guarantees inventory accuracy and compliance. The role involves managing site warehouse supervisors and teams to maintain high standards of safety, quality, inventory control, and customer service.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all warehouse operations across full goods, raw materials, and empty containers. This includes supervising site-level warehouse managers and teams to ensure consistent execution of operational standards, workforce efficiency, and compliance.
  • Oversee inventory accuracy and control. Conduct regular stock reconciliations, cycle counts, and implement systems to reduce variances and improve data integrity across all warehouse categories.
  • Ensure timely and efficient inbound and outbound logistics. This includes managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods and ensuring loading/unloading processes meet performance benchmarks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams. Coordinate with procurement, production, sales, logistics, and finance to align on supply needs, forecast demands, and address operational gaps.
  • Analyze and improve warehouse performance. Use KPIs and performance data to identify bottlenecks, reduce cost, and enhance service levels. Implement continuous improvement and best practice initiatives.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to SOPs. Monitor and enforce adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and legal requirements at all warehouse sites.
  • Manage warehouse system transactions and documentation. Ensure proper system entries for write-offs, damaged goods, quarantined items, customer complaints, and container loans are recorded and reconciled.
  • Consolidate and report on national warehouse data. Collect and submit comprehensive reports on stock status, reconciliations, and transactional activities to senior management

Job Requirements

  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams, improving warehouse operations, and driving inventory accuracy and cost-efficiency
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and ERP software
  • Experience working in a manufacturing, FMCG, or distribution environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience supervising multi-site teams.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A master’s degree in supply chain management, Operations Management, or Business Administration (MBA) is preferred

Experience

  • Minimum 7-10 years of progressive experience in warehouse or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a national or multi-site leadership role.
