The ideal candidate will have a technical background, particularly in electrical work, and the ability to handle a variety of maintenance and repair tasks.

Job Description:

As a General Service Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities and equipment. Your role will involve both in-office and field-based tasks, including:

• Performing electrical repairs and maintenance tasks as needed.
• Conducting general maintenance and repairs (e.g., plumbing, carpentry, painting, etc.).
• Inspecting and troubleshooting equipment and systems to ensure proper functionality.
• Responding to maintenance requests and resolving issues promptly.
• Assisting in the setup and maintenance of office equipment and furniture.
• Conducting routine inspections of facilities to identify and address potential issues.
• Ensuring compliance with safety standards and protocols.
• Performing field-based tasks, including travel to other locations as required.
• Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.

Requirements:

• TVET Diploma in Electrical, General Mechanics, or a related technical field.
• 0-1 year of experience in maintenance, electrical work, or a similar role (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and general maintenance practices.
• Ability to handle a variety of tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Adaptable, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness to perform field-based tasks and travel as required.
• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor.
• A valid driver’s license is an added advantage.
