Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Accountant to support our finance operations on a 2–3 days per week (half-day) basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting compliance and reporting requirements.
This role is suitable for a professional who can work independently, manage deadlines efficiently, and ensure financial accuracy with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate bookkeeping.
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and review payroll calculations (if applicable).
- Assist in VAT, withholding tax, and other tax declarations.
- Prepare monthly financial summaries and reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.
- Organize and maintain proper financial documentation.
- Support external auditors or tax consultants when required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 1–4 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Good knowledge of tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Peachtree or similar) - Preferred
- Strong MS Excel skills.
