Printing Machine Operator (Modjo)

Job Summary

The Printing Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining printing machines to ensure high-quality production output.

The role involves setting up machines, monitoring printing processes, and ensuring production targets are met efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate printing machines according to production plans and specifications.
• Set up machines (ink, paper, plates, settings) before starting production.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust settings to maintain quality.
• Inspect printed materials for quality, color accuracy, and defects.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines.
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report major problems to the maintenance team.
• Ensure proper use of raw materials and minimize waste.
• Maintain production records and reports.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times.
• Coordinate with supervisors and team members to meet daily targets.

Working Conditions

• Factory/production environment.
• May require shift work, weekends, or overtime.
• Exposure to noise, ink and machinery.

Qualification

• Diploma or Technical Training in Printing Technology, Mechanical, or related field.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in printing machine operation.
