Job Summary
The Printing Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining printing machines to ensure high-quality production output.
The role involves setting up machines, monitoring printing processes, and ensuring production targets are met efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate printing machines according to production plans and specifications.
- Set up machines (ink, paper, plates, settings) before starting production.
- Monitor machine performance and adjust settings to maintain quality.
- Inspect printed materials for quality, color accuracy, and defects.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines.
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report major problems to the maintenance team.
- Ensure proper use of raw materials and minimize waste.
- Maintain production records and reports.
- Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times.
- Coordinate with supervisors and team members to meet daily targets.
Working Conditions
- Factory/production environment.
- May require shift work, weekends, or overtime.
- Exposure to noise, ink and machinery.
Qualification
- Diploma or Technical Training in Printing Technology, Mechanical, or related field.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in printing machine operation.
