Job Summary
The main objective of this assignment is to improve agro-processing product quality, safety, and diversification, and implement operational systems through providing tailored technical support, training, and system implementation.
Specific objectives include:
- Providing hands-on skill-based training on product diversification and value addition.
- Introduce and establish reliable product quality testing systems.
- Strengthen Good Hygienic Practices (GHP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP and HACCP-based ISO 22,000:2018 implementations among agro processors.
- Improve hygiene and safety standards in school feeding environments.
- Support the implementation of quality and food safety management systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess existing agro processing with particular attention to dairy processing practices and product lines.
- Provide technical guidance on the diversification of dairy products, such as:
- Yogurt
- Cheese
- Butter
- Fermented milk
- Flavored milk, etc.
- Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for dairy product production.
- Provide in-house organization of QC and provide practical milk and dairy product quality testing systems.
- Train processors on:
- Milk quality parameters
- Adulteration detection
- Shelf life management
Required Competencies
- Educational background in food science and related disciplines, and more than five years’ experience in manufacturing sectors directly engaged in research and development, or product diversification and quality testing related tasks.

Based: At the head office with frequent travel to project areas.

Benefit and Salary: Negotiable
