Based in Addis Ababa, we work with governments, organizations, and enterprises across Africa to deliver transformative digital solutions. We're at a critical growth stage and need someone to lead our brand and product marketing strategy.

We're seeking a Brand & Product Marketing Manager to build our brand presence and establish our products as premium solutions in the market. You'll combine strategic marketing with design support to create compelling brand assets and campaigns.

This is a hybrid role where you'll develop marketing strategy, execute campaigns, and create visual assets. You'll work directly with leadership to shape how Techally is positioned and perceived in the market.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Plan and execute digital and traditional marketing campaigns.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive insights.
  • Manage and run social media and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Create marketing graphics, social media assets, and other visual content.
  • Design simple product marketing materials (landing pages, one-pagers, presentations).
  • Manage brand positioning and communications.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
  • Set up analytics infrastructure and track marketing performance metrics.

What We're Looking For:

  • 2-3+ years of marketing experience (brand, product, or marketing management).
  • Proven ability to position companies or products in competitive markets.
  • A portfolio demonstrating successful brand building or campaign execution.
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to execute.
  • B2B or enterprise marketing experience preferred.
  • Experience in technology or innovation sectors preferred.

Technical Skills:

  • Digital marketing platforms and tools (email marketing, social media management, CMS).
  • Marketing automation tools (HubSpot, Mailchimp, or similar).
  • Analytics and reporting tools (Google Analytics, reporting platforms).
  • Paid advertising platforms (LinkedIn, Google Ads, Facebook).
  • Design tools (Figma, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) - comfortable creating marketing graphics designs.
  • Project management and collaboration tools.
  • SEO and content optimization knowledge.

  • Strategic thinker who sees the big picture.
  • Creative problem-solver.
  • Self-directed and results-driven.
  • Comfortable with feedback and iteration.
  • Motivated by building brands and creating market impact.

  • Product positioning and messaging frameworks completed.
  • Social media presence growing in reach and engagement.
  • Paid advertising campaigns running with custom graphics.
  • Marketing materials designed (social assets, one-pagers, presentations).
  • Strategic content published (blog posts, thought leadership pieces).
  • Analytics dashboard tracking marketing performance.
  • Internal team trained on brand and marketing strategy.
  • Brand asset library created with reusable graphics and templates.
