JOB SUMMARY
The Production Assistant is responsible for helping prepare the set with lights, props, equipment etc. Assisting costume designers, directors, camera people and other crew members. Printing and distributing daily paperwork like call sheets.
MAIN ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES (not limited to):
- Helping prepare the set with lights and equipment.
- Assisting camera crew members on set
- Act as a runner distributing messages or items within film crew and cast
- Prepare equipment before the shoot date in discussion with the cinematographer
- Assists with the selection and building of scenery
- Assist with other different tasks assigned
QUALIFICATION AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
- High school diploma. Relevant training will be an advantage
- Experience as production assistant or a passion for the industry
- Knowledge of terminology in film production would be a plus
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking ability
- Resourcefulness and problem-solving skills
- A team player with great communication skills
- Physical strength and stamina
