Job Summary: The job holder is responsible to provide programmatic, operational, and administrative support for the African Girls Can Code Initiative (AGCCI) and related UN Women programs. The role involves supporting programme planning, implementation, coordination, financial management, partnership engagement, and reporting to ensure effective delivery of gender equality and women empowerment initiatives.
Job Requirement Educational Requirements: Master’s degree or equivalent in Social Sciences, Human Rights, Gender/Women’s Studies, International Development, or related field. A first-level university degree with additional qualifying experience may be accepted. Project/Programme Management certification (PMP®, PRINCE2®, MSP®) is an added advantage.
Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in administrative and operational management, programme coordination, advocacy, or partnership-related projects and programs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support programme planning, implementation, and coordination activities
- Liaise with partners including AU, ITU, ECA, donors, and member states
- Monitor programme performance and prepare narrative and financial reports
- Coordinate meetings, workshops, travel arrangements, and logistics
- Support financial planning, budgeting, and expenditure tracking
- Assist in partnership development and resource mobilization efforts
- Document lessons learned, best practices, and programme results
- Provide administrative and operational support to programme teams
Languages:
- Fluency in English and French is required
- Knowledge of additional UN languages is an advantage
