Job Purpose
The Quality Analyst is responsible for ensuring accurate sampling and product analysis (chemical/physical, microbiological, and sensory), performing calibrations and verifications, supporting troubleshooting processes in production, and maintaining a clean and efficient laboratory environment. The role ensures compliance with safety standards, 5S, HACCP, and Laboratory Star System (LSS) procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Safety, Food Safety & Sustainability
- Maintain a clean and organized working environment in line with 5S, HACCP, VACCP, and TACCP standards
- Identify safety risks and apply safety principles and procedures
- Report unsafe conditions and ensure compliance with company and local safety standards
- Quality of Analysis
- Perform quality checks based on sample plans
- Conduct chemical and physical analyses for verification of in-line meters
- Follow Laboratory Star System (LSS) procedures and sampling guidelines
- TPM and Continuous Improvement
- Participate in laboratory improvement initiatives (ISO9001, LSS)
- Use digital tools for reporting and documentation (SOP, OPL, CILT, 5S)
- Engage in TPM activities such as Kaizen, RCFA, and UPS
- Support implementation of APM steps and lead DCS meetings
- Execution of Analysis
- Conduct laboratory analyses including microbiological and sensory tests
- Perform calibration and verification of in-line and off-line systems
- Handle complex analyses beyond automated systems
- Equipment & Material Management
- Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment
- Ensure availability of laboratory materials and supplies
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: BSc Degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, or related field
- Experience: 2–4 years of relevant work experience (laboratory experience preferred)
- Certifications:
- 1 Star QC module (theory and practice)
- ONE2Learn Quality and Brewing Modules Certificate
- Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Office, Windows, Qualass V-5, and Qualass SAV
- Understanding of food safety standards
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and follow procedures
