Key Responsibilities
The position focuses on inventory control, audit execution, compliance monitoring, and reporting support.
- Assist in physical stock counts at warehouses and fashion retail outlets
- Participate in cycle counts and surprise inventory checks at stores
- Reconcile physical stock with ERP/POS system records and report discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with inventory SOPs, store procedures, and internal controls
- Maintain audit documentation and working papers
- Monitor inventory accuracy, expiry management, and store SOP adherence
- Conduct audits on promotions, merchandising displays, cleanliness, and in-store branding
- Implement mystery shopper audits to evaluate customer service and store standards
- Perform loss prevention and health & safety audits for employees and customers
- Conduct competitor audits to identify trends and recommend best practices
- Use audit tools, data analytics, and reporting systems to identify risks and patterns
- Prepare MIS reports and present audit findings with strategic recommendations
- Track implementation of audit recommendations and follow up on corrective actions
- Participate in BI meetings and support tasks assigned by leadership
- Perform any other duties assigned from time to time
Key Result Areas
- No critical non-compliance in retail audit reports
- 100% store coverage as per annual audit plan
- Less than 1% stock variance across audited stores
- No expired goods displayed in retail outlets
- All audit reports submitted within defined turnaround time (TAT)
Educational Qualification
- Diploma or BA in Accounting or related fields
Work Experience
- 2–4 years of experience in inventory audit or related field
