Our company – Organic Liquid Fertilizer Producing PLC (known by the trade name ‘Eco Green’) is a legal entity registered in 2008 in accordance with Commercial Registration and Business License Proclamation number 980/2008 of the FDRE. As the name indicates, the Company produces 100% ORGANIC Liquid Fertilizer which is rich in microbes, improves soil fertility, increases the productivity and quality of the crop, and significantly cuts fertilizer costs. It has been bestowed different national and international awards including, but not limited to, “Prestigious Science Innovation Award in 2007 E.C.” from the hands of the former FDRE Prime Minister H/Mariam Desalegn, “Climate Innovation Prize in 2009 E.C” from Ethiopian Climate Innovation Centre, and “The Best Entrepreneurship of the year Award in 2015 G.C.” from UNDP.
Qualification and Experience:
- The Chartered institute of BA degree in Marketing Management/Business Management/ Business Administration or related discipline.
- 6 years of professional experience of which 4 years at Senior position in Marketing & Sales. with a strong background in the pesticide industry.
Competencies and Key Skills Required
- Good verbal and written communication skills,
- good numerical skills, good report writing and performance evaluation skill is a must
- a good head for business, strong organizational skill, hard working
- team working skills, and working on social media and networking skill
- good organizational and planning skill, able to work extra working time
- self-confidence to sell ideas and brief agencies and the marketing team,
- Fluency in at least one of foreign language, excellent on marketing strategy concept
Position Description and major Duties
- Sales and marketing supervisor is responsible for setting short- and long-term sales strategies and evaluating effectiveness of sales programs, supervising and organizing sales team, managing the company’s sales by developing business plans, meeting planned goals, and coordinating with marketing organ on lead generation.
- Prepares annual sales plan and budgets concentrating on sales volume, product mix and selling price by analyzing the supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators and competitors
- Determines KPI’s for sales staff and sets realistic and achievable weekly, quarterly, monthly, and annual sales targets for the Sales staff and other Sales Representatives
- Reviews periodically sales policies and procedures and proposes changes;
