Job Summary
The Salesperson (Paper & Paper Products) is responsible for driving sales growth by promoting and selling paper and packaging products to new and existing customers. The role involves building strong client relationships, identifying market opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction while achieving sales targets. The position requires a proactive individual with strong communication and negotiation skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities in the paper and packaging market.
- Promote and sell company products to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and provide after-sales support.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and sales agreements.
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs and competitor activities.
- Negotiate prices and terms with customers to close sales deals.
- Follow up on leads, inquiries, and pending orders.
- Coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Maintain accurate sales records and prepare periodic sales reports.
- Represent the company professionally and promote brand image in the market.
Education:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field
Experience:
- 1–3 years of sales experience
- Experience in the paper, printing, or packaging industry is an advantage
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills (MS Office applications)
- Customer-oriented mindset with strong relationship-building ability
- Good problem-solving and persuasion skills
