Senior Accountant

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will oversee daily accounting operations, prepare accurate financial reports, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support management in financial decision-making. The role requires strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and the capacity to lead and guide junior accounting staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate financial discrepancies.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Supervise and mentor junior accountants, reviewing work for accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with external auditors and support audit processes.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for decision-making.
• Assist in improving financial processes and strengthening internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, including experience in a senior or supervisory role within the manufacturing sector.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) and tax regulations.
