Senior Business Analyst (Contract)

Job Summary We are seeking a Business Analyst with expertise in the payment industry to join our team. The successful candidate will analyze business needs related to payment products, identify opportunities for innovation, and develop solutions that support EthSwitch’s strategic goals. This role requires extensive collaboration with technical and business stakeholders to ensure the successful development and deployment of digital financial services. This position is responsible for identifying business needs, analyzing processes, and recommending solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualification:

• Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Experience:

• Minimum 8 or above years of experience in business analysis roles, specifically in the payment industry

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong understanding of the domain and digital finance ecosystems
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies (e.g., UML, BPMN)
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel) and experience with project management software
• Experience with digital finance regulations, compliance, and security
• Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple assignments
• Familiarity with project management methodologies, particularly Agile
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements
• Create detailed process maps to identify areas for improvement and efficiency
• Develop and maintain business cases, feasibility studies, and project proposals specific to digital
• Analyze data to inform business decisions using tools such as Excel, SQL, or data visualization software
• Propose and design solutions that meet business needs and align with organizational goals
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and business units to ensure alignment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, IT, operations, and external stakeholders
• Create and maintain business process models, user journeys, and documentation for digital finance solutions
• Conduct gap analysis on existing processes and products and recommend improvements
• Identify risks and challenges and develop mitigation strategies
• Assist in project management by tracking progress and ensuring deliverables meet quality standards
• Provide training and support to end-users on new processes and systems
• Assist in developing project plans, schedules, and progress reports
• Stay up to date with emerging trends in digital finance and fintech innovation

Certifications (Advantageous):

• CBAP, CCBA, ECBA
