About the Job
The Senior Reinsurance Officer is responsible for managing reinsurance operations, ensuring accurate placement of reinsurance treaties, monitoring risk exposure, and supporting the company’s risk mitigation strategy. The role involves close coordination with underwriting, finance, and external reinsurers to ensure compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in reinsurance processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee reinsurance arrangements and treaty administration.
- Analyze risk exposure and ensure appropriate reinsurance coverage.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external reinsurers.
- Prepare reinsurance reports and documentation.
- Monitor claims recovery from reinsurers and ensure timely settlements.
- Ensure compliance with reinsurance policies, agreements, and regulatory requirements.
Qualification:
- BA/BSc in Accounting, Management, Statistics, Engineering, or related field.
Experience:
- 4 years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year as Reinsurance Officer II.
