Job Summary
AMG Steel Factory, a leading steel manufacturer in Ethiopia since 2010, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Spare Part Planning Engineer to join its team in Addis Ababa. This role is critical for maintaining operational efficiency by managing inventory for essential equipment spares.
Key Responsibilities:
- Forecast, plan, and manage inventory for critical equipment spares.
- Coordinate across engineering, maintenance, and supply chain departments to prevent downtime.
- Optimize stock levels to avoid shortages or surplus.
- Expedite orders and improve planning processes using software such as SAP or Primavera.
- Provide detailed reporting and align inventory strategies with operational goals.
Requirements:
- Education: MSc or BSc Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in spare parts planning or maintenance engineering.
- Skills: Proficiency in SAP/Primavera and strong analytical capabilities.
