Awura PLC is a technology company focused on creating outstanding digital experiences through innovative web applications. We’re looking for a passionate Senior UI/UX Designer to take the lead in designing intuitive, elegant, and engaging user interfaces for our web-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design of user-centered interfaces and experiences for web applications from concept to final hand-off.
• Conduct user research, interviews, and usability tests to gather insights and validate design decisions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, journey maps, and high-fidelity UI designs using tools like Figma or Adobe XD.
• Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI component libraries.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless implementation of design concepts.
• Maintain and evolve our design system to ensure consistency across all products.
• Champion accessibility and responsive design principles in all projects.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to a culture of creativity and continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 4+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design
• Strong portfolio showcasing web & mobile app design, wireframes, prototypes, and case studies.
• Expertise in Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch (Figma preferred).
• Proficiency in prototyping tools (e.g., ProtoPie, Framer, InVision).
• Solid understanding of design principles, user behavior, and usability standards.
• Experience with motion design & micro-interactions (After Effects, Principle).
• Understanding of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Knowledge of user research methodologies (surveys, interviews, A/B testing).
• Solid understanding of design principles, user behavior, and usability standards.
