Lesso Ethiopia Trading Plc is a leading manufacturer of plastic pipes and fittings and a prominent coffee exporter in Ethiopia. For our newly established luxury showrooms, we are seeking energetic and vibrant Sales Personnel to join our growing team.
Job Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Showroom Sales Division Head, the Showroom Sales Officer will:
- Work closely with customers, contractors, and engineers to provide a variety of the company’s products.
- Deliver expert product knowledge, professional selection assistance, and excellent customer service.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist customers or their representatives in product planning and selection.
- Apply consultative sales techniques, strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and effective follow-up practices.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing staff to follow up with customers.
- Welcome and assist clients and visitors in the showroom, understand their needs, deliver product presentations, and recommend suitable products and solutions.
- Prepare quotations based on client specifications and requirements; process and handle payments accordingly.
- Utilize appropriate office technologies and computer systems to process and track orders, ensuring effective communication with all stakeholders.
- Maintain the showroom as a professional place of business in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Ensure all sales activities comply with the company’s terms, conditions, and policies.
- Accurately record and file all client-related documentation.
- Prepare regular reports for the division and participate in internal sales and management meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Showroom Sales Division Head.
Qualification Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Civil Engineering, Sanitary Engineering, Water Engineering, or a related field.
- 0–3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong computer proficiency
- Good operational skills
- Logical reasoning ability
- Strong technical understanding
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Team-oriented with strong public relations skills
- Strong numerical, analytical, and presentation skills
