Redfox Trading plc is seeking a talented and motivated Social Media Manager to join its team in Addis Ababa. This full-time, on-site role is pivotal in shaping the company's online presence and engaging with its audience across various social media platforms.

The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and executing innovative social media marketing strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.

This includes producing captivating content that resonates with the target audience, optimizing social media channels for maximum reach and engagement, and fostering meaningful interactions with followers.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Execution:

  • Develop and implement a social media strategy aligned with marketing goals (awareness, engagement, customer acquisition).
  • Create content calendars for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, TikTok, and YouTube.

Content Creation:

  • Produce high-quality posts, videos, infographics, and stories showcasing delivery services, promotions, and company culture.
  • Collaborate with designers and videographers for visually appealing assets.

Community Management:

  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and reviews; escalate customer issues to the support team.
  • Foster positive engagement and manage crisis communications proactively.

Campaign Management:

  • Run paid social campaigns (Meta Ads, Google Ads) to drive traffic and conversions.
  • Partner with influencers and local businesses for co-branded initiatives.

Analytics & Reporting:

  • Track KPIs (reach, engagement, ROI) using tools like Google Analytics and Hootsuite.
  • Provide monthly reports with actionable insights.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Align with Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure consistent messaging.
  • Support product launches and CSR initiatives.

Trendspotting & Innovation:

  • Stay ahead of social media trends and platform updates; propose creative experiments (e.g., A/B testing).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 3+ years of social media management experience, preferably in delivery, logistics, or e-commerce.
  • Proficiency in social platforms (Meta, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn) and tools (Hootsuite, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Strong copywriting, editing, and communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in Google Analytics or similar.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with influencer marketing, video editing, or SEO.
  • Multilingual capabilities for diverse regional outreach.
