Job Summary
The objective of the Software Engineer role is to develop software that delivers business value for the company and is operated on in a reliable, efficient, and secure way. The software should align with the organization's objectives and effectively meet the needs of its users by delivering high-quality IT services to internal customers within Royal Swinkels, thereby enabling them to concentrate on their core activities
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring the design, development, and maintenance of software applications that support business operations.
- Collaborating closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, ensuring solutions are scalable, reliable, and aligned with company goals.
- The engineer applies expertise in both high-code and low-code environments to deliver efficient, user-friendly applications while continuously improving development processes and embracing new technologies.
- Strongly focused on customer satisfaction and delivering smart, user-friendly software solutions that enhance efficiency and support future-proof production operations.
- Gathering and translating business requirements into effective software solutions,
- Coordinating and supporting testing activities, and providing user support.
- Ensuring seamless system integration and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality, efficiency, and reliability of applications within their scope.
Qualification
- BSc. Degree in Software Engineering and equivalent field of study,
- 2-4 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in the Deep knowledge / Solid expertise in their area, with a strong proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks.
- Experience with software architecture, version control, debugging, and test automation.
