About the job

We are seeking a qualified statistician responsible for leading the sampling design and sample size determination, conducting power and precision analyses, establishing robust data management systems, and carrying out high-quality quantitative data analysis to support a new project application

Minimum qualifications and experience:

• Master’s degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field
• Demonstrated expertise in sampling design, statistical power analysis, and comparative analysis, evidenced by:
• At least five (5) years of professional experience applying sampling design and quantitative analysis in household surveys, outcome monitoring, or evaluation studies; and
• Direct responsibility for sampling design and/or sample size determination (including power calculations) in a minimum of three (3) completed assignments; and
• Practical experience conducting comparative analysis (e.g., participant vs. non-participant, treatment vs. comparison groups, before-and-after analysis), demonstrated through previous assignments; and
• Proficiency demonstrated through CVs and supporting documentation, such as methodology sections of reports, technical proposals, or client references.
• Proficiency in statistical software such as SPSS, STATA, or equivalent

Demonstrated ability to apply advanced statistical techniques to ensure rigor, reliability, and validity of findings.
