Job Overview:
We are looking for interns who are passionate about technology and eager to learn and grow within a supportive environment. As an intern, you will be responsible for supporting our online classes and office hours, assisting students with their tasks, and working closely with our training departments. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in database administration, technical documentation, and content creation while receiving valuable mentorship from experienced professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Student Support: Track student progress, assist students with classwork and assigned tasks and ensure they are meeting their learning objectives.
- Training Participation: Complete our comprehensive DBA (Database Administration) training alongside students, gaining practical experience in real-world scenarios.
- Documentation: Prepare detailed technical documentation related to database management, SQL server operations, and other relevant technologies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the training team to develop and refine training materials, ensuring they are up-to-date and effective.
- Additional Tasks: Assist with administrative duties as needed, including organizing resources, scheduling sessions, and maintaining records.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A basic understanding of databases is required; experience with SQL Server is a plus.
- Familiarity with T-SQL, Visual Studio, SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services), and SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Database Administration principles and practices is advantageous.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation and reporting.
- Commitment to providing exceptional support and guidance to students.
