Duties and Responsibilities
- Regularly perform physical inventory counts to ensure that actual stock matches system records.
- Execute loss prevention audits focusing on policies and processes to minimize theft, waste, and security breaches.
- Implement mystery shopper audits to collect data on customer interactions with the retail store.
- Perform health and safety audits to check compliance with regulations and procedures to safeguard employees and customers.
- Ensure that optimum inventory levels are maintained to meet customer demand without overstocking or understocking.
- Maintain accurate records of all stock movements—receiving, transfers, sales, and returns.
- Implement controls to minimize inventory shrinkage (due to theft, damage, or errors) and ensure effective stock rotation.
- Identify and implement improvements in inventory management processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Prepare MIS and presentations on retail audit findings and initiatives for the leadership team.
- Any other job assigned by management from time to time.
Qualification
- Educational Requirement: BA/MA Degree in Management, Accounting, Logistics and Supplies Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Experience: 2 years of experience in inventory management and audit.
