Tender Officer Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Search, identify, and track all relevant tenders from government and private sectors.
• Prepare complete tender documents, including technical, financial, and administrative requirements.
• Analyze tender specifications, terms, eligibility criteria, and bid instructions.
• Coordinate with departments to gather accurate financial data, pricing, and cost breakdowns.
• Prepare bid bonds, performance guarantees, and other financial documents.
• Follow up on tender submissions and maintain tender status reports.
• Ensure all tender documents meet compliance standards and submission deadlines.
• Maintain an organized database of tenders, contracts, and related documents.
• Assist in negotiation processes and support contract award activities.
• Liaise with procurement teams, suppliers, and finance departments as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Accounting background is highly encouraged, especially for handling financial proposals and cost analyses.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in tender preparation, procurement, or similar roles.
• Strong understanding of tender processes, bid evaluations, and government procurement procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail, document accuracy, and time management.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PDF preparation).
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
