Trainee Cook

Job Summary

The Trainee Cook will assist in food preparation and kitchen operations while gaining practical experience in cooking techniques and maintaining kitchen standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and cooking food
• Support kitchen operations and maintain cleanliness
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards
• Work under supervision to develop cooking skills

Qualification Requirements

• Minimum Level III Certificate in:
  • Food Preparation
  • Kitchen Operation
  • Foreign Dish Cooking
  • Ethiopian Cultural Food Preparation
  • Related fields from a recognized TVET / College / Institute
• OR Minimum Level II Certificate in:
  • Food Preparation
  • Kitchen Operation
  • Foreign Dish Cooking
  • Ethiopian Cultural Food Preparation
  • Related fields from a recognized TVET / College / Institute
• With at least one year of related work experience in Ethiopian Airlines or another recognized organization

Additional Requirement

• COC Certificate is mandatory
