PR MARRIOTT DRILLING Ltd: A UK-based international company with a registered office here in Ethiopia currently undergoing deep geothermal drilling operations.

JOB TITLE: Junior Accountant

REPORTS TO: Financial Controller

JOB PURPOSE:

To maintain an accurate and timely book of accounts with special emphasis on the major tasks given below to provide management with information for decision-making, to observe and implement accounting and internal control procedures adopted by the company.

MAJOR DUTIES OF THE POSITION INCLUDE: -

• Timely and accurate recording of the purchase invoice, expenses and
• Preparing purchase orders
• Following up on purchases and issuing goods received notes.
• Reconciliation of payables, receivables and bank and cash accounts
• The job holder is responsible for performing any other related duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• B.A in Accounting from a RECOGNIZED University (preferably a government university) with a very good academic record. Graduated maximum before three years- minimum two.
• Two to three years of relevant experience in the Finance Department of a business organization preferably in an international company
• Ability to work in a team under strict deadlines and pressure.
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
• Basic knowledge of the Ethiopian tax law
• Peachtree/ Sage Skills
• English communication skills

Salary: As per the Company scale
