Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, or related field.
Work Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in import operations or a similar role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage import operations to ensure timely and efficient shipment processing.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs laws.
- Prepare and review import documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Communicate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and suppliers to resolve any issues.
- Monitor shipment status and update relevant stakeholders accordingly.
- Maintain accurate records of all import transactions and related documentation.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in import operations.
- Assist with audits and inspections related to import activities.
- Provide support and guidance on import-related inquiries to other departments.
