Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Greenery and Landscape Engineer with at least two years of site experience to supervise and execute landscape and greenery works in line with approved drawings, specifications, and project timelines. The role involves:
- Technical oversight
- Coordination with stakeholders
- Hands-on site management
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and execute landscape and greenery works on-site in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and timelines.
- Inspect and monitor planting, irrigation installations, and the maintenance of trees, shrubs, lawns, and other greenery features.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality of landscaping materials.
- Oversee proper implementation and functioning of irrigation systems including pumps, pipelines, valves, and controllers.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure the health, vigor, and sustainability of plant materials.
- Identify and resolve site-level issues in real-time, ensuring adherence to environmental, safety, and sustainability standards.
- Prepare and submit daily and weekly progress reports; flag any deviations to the Project Manager promptly.
- Provide technical guidance and horticultural best practices to subcontractors and site implementation teams.
- Review and verify shop drawings, as-built drawings, and material submittals for compliance with project requirements.
- Ensure all works adhere to local regulations and meet sustainability and environmental benchmarks.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Agricultural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years hands-on site experience in landscape construction and greenery maintenance.
- Sound knowledge of plant species, soil preparation, irrigation systems, and landscape materials.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting landscape and irrigation drawings.
- Strong coordination and communication skills for dealing with multiple stakeholders.
- Familiarity with local environmental and safety regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with AutoCAD or landscape design tools is an advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver within tight deadlines.
