Job Description Summary

Dengene Technology Solutions is seeking an IT Officer to support all aspects of the company’s IT systems and services. Furthermore, the role entails responsibility for guaranteeing the security and integrity of computer operations as well as system development in compliance with the firm's strategic and IT plans. In addition, the candidate should be proficient in problem analysis, problem solutions, design thinking, and communication.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Drive continual improvement of all Workforce productivity technology services
• Systemically manage Performance and Security of technology assets used by Dengene
• Create Standards for Technology assets in order to enhance productivity and security
• Optimize Network services and enhance Network Security
• Research ways of improving our internal Technology services and propose optimal solutions
• Manage/optimize software and hardware assets
• Work as a liaison with Telecommunication and other Technology service providers that Dengene works with to ensure optimal operations
• Manage compliance and audit of Technology assets
• Implement leading IT Processes and Solutions
• Implement leading Cyber and Information Security, practices by establishing Processes and Solutions
• Manage / Optimize Microsoft Azure services and resources
• Establish and Manage Access to Technology resources optimally
• Be an innovative and Solution oriented professional to enable Technology efficient business operations at Dengene
• Maintain the business capability model and how it is enabled by Technology
• Maintain inventory of Technology Assets and their cost implication
• Review new features and functionalities offered by Technology Platforms that we currently invest in to help Dengene realize the most value out of our Technology Investment
• Proactively drive cost optimization initiatives
• Drive awareness initiatives to help Employees utilize Technology assets to their full potential
• Drive awareness initiatives to help Employees exercise secure technology use practices

Skills Required

• Good understanding of current IT security and Data protection standards
• Exercises initiative and creativity to complete projects within the project scope
• Good interpersonal skills and proven ability to work in a highly team-oriented environment
• Proven ability to function in a fast-paced, project-based, environment
• Demonstrable experience in Project Management
• A demonstrated passion for learning new technologies
• Ability to work in a flexible hour when required
• Ability to maintain detailed and accurate records
• Offer assistance to other employees in the use of various technologies
• Ability to build professional relationships with key stakeholders and staff
• Demonstrated interest in technology advanced within the firm

 Required Qualifications

• At least a bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology or related disciplines
• 4/5 years of relevant work experience
