We are currently seeking talented & qualified candidates to form part of our growing property offering the below position Qualifications & Experience Degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management; 2 years’ experience as Executive Chef or a high-performing Head Chef, or High school Culinary School diploma; 4 years’ experience as Executive Chef or a high-performing Head Chef COC (Certification of Occupational Competency) Certificate(Level VI & above) is a must Previous, relevant experience in a high-performing 4*/5* hotels chain is required A certification in management High level of IT understanding / Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook efficiently Be knowledgeable of classic & modern culinary preparation, garnishing, dishes and cooking Person Specification/ Personality trait Have experience working with & supervising a large brigade of chefs on a daily basis Ability to supervise and maintain a high level of food production, preparation and delivery throughout the kitchen Excellent leadership skills A creative approach to the production of high-quality food A business-focused approach to managing a hotel kitchen Excellent communication skills Ability to build relationships, internal and external, to the hotel and the Company Excellent planning and organizational skills Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
