Job Summary:

On behalf of our client, We are seeking a highly motivated and friendly individual to join our client's team as a Receptionist. As the first point of contact for patients, you will play a critical role in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for all visitors. Ideal candidates should have 0-2 years of experience, preferably in a healthcare or eye clinic setting. You will be responsible for managing patient appointments, answering queries, and supporting the clinic’s daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, appointments, and general information.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments efficiently using the clinic's appointment system.
  • Verify patient information and ensure that all necessary forms and documents are completed.
  • Handle patient check-ins and check-outs, ensuring a smooth and timely process.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all relevant privacy policies.
  • Assist with managing the clinic's email and phone correspondence.
  • Process payments for services rendered and issue receipts.
  • Support the clinic team by preparing patient charts and ensuring necessary documentation is available for appointments.
  • Ensure that the reception area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary materials.
  • Assist in maintaining the clinic's schedule and working closely with doctors and other clinic staff to manage patient flow.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 0-2 years of experience in a receptionist or administrative role, ideally within an eye clinic or healthcare setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused attitude.
  • Basic knowledge of office software (MS Office, scheduling systems) and ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Knowledge or experience in the eye care field is a plus.
