Position Title: - Associate, Investigation and Enforcement Duty Station: - Addis Ababa / Head Office Availability: - As soon as possible Job Purpose: - The purpose of this job is to assist the Manager in divisional operations; participate in investigation of any breaches in compliance and prepare investigation reports, charges and follow up the enforcement of disciplinary decisions; prepares letters, minutes for the business conduct committee and organize and keep files and records of Investigation and Enforcement, participates in drafting or reviewing rules or any other legal instruments to ensure compliance with legal requirements and produce periodic reports. SUMMARY OF MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Participates in the development and revision of policies, procedures, and manuals of the Division; Assists the research and analysis regarding laws applicable to the Exchange to identify issues that need an introduction of new rules or amendment of the Rules; drafts Rules of the Exchange, operational contracts and presents it to appropriate bodies for approval; Provides legal consultations, comments advises and interpretation on issues related to the Rules of the Exchange and other pertinent laws applicable to the Exchange operation to different Departments/Divisions of the Exchange.; Prepares Minutes of Business Conduct Committee meetings and follows up enforcement of BCC’s decision, and prepares letters of disciplinary measures; Assists the preparation of investigation report regarding Rules violation and prepare responses to appeal made by members, clients of intermediary members or floor representatives. Assists the awareness creation programs to members, employees of the Exchange and other stakeholders concerning Rules of the Exchange and other pertinent laws applicable on the Exchange; Participates in the revision of internal agreements and procedures, including those between warehouse operators, clearing institutions, members and clients, to determine legality and compatibility with rules and regulations governing the Exchange; Prepares periodic reports concerning the activities of the Division; performs other related duties assigned by the immediate supervisor. Required Qualification and Experience LLB\BA\BSC Law, Management, Business Administration, or related field 2 years of relevant work experience in judiciary, prosecution, legal advisory business analysis, exchange operations, surveillance, marketing, or related areas.
