Job Summary: To ensure that payments are effected in compliance with relevant laws and company policy, the company meets its obligation when due and excess cash is kept in the most advantageous form for the company. Duties & Responsibilities Ensure that payments are effected in compliance with company policy, relevant laws and regulations and for goods and services procured by the company. Follow-up that cash is available for payments as and when due. Compile and report periodic cash forecasts, payments reports, and cash positions. Perform reconciliation of supplier accounts Verify payment documents and avail for final approval. Ensure that payment transactions are registered timely and correctly. Ensure that payment documents are kept organized and safe. Ensure that unused cheque books are kept safely Prepare periodic reports of activities performed Similar activities to be assigned by the immediate supervisor Skills Required Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, Knowledge of income tax laws of the country Interpersonal skills, organizational and multi-tasking skills, Sound judgment and proficiency in technology tools and systems. He/she should also be detail-oriented, observant and has the ability to scrutinize and verify documents. Required Qualification BA degree in Accounting and Finance or related field Minimum of three years of relevant experiences Language ability: Fluency in English and other local languages
