Job Summary:
We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Painter to join our team. This role involves preparing and applying high-quality finishes to our furniture products, ensuring consistency and adherence to our aesthetic standards. The successful candidate will also mentor junior painters and maintain a safe and organized workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and paint furniture items according to established factory standards and specifications.
- Care for and properly maintain painting tools and equipment.
- Ensure consistent color matching, application, and overall finishing quality on all products.
- Inspect finished products for defects and perform necessary touch-ups or corrections.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Provide guidance and supervision to junior painters, assisting with their training and development.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in painting and finishing, ideally within a furniture manufacturing or similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of various paints, stains, lacquers, varnishes, and application techniques.
- Proficiency in working with diverse materials, including wood, MDF, and various metal types.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Ability to identify and rectify finishing imperfections.
