Accountant

Job Summary

The accountant will be responsible for managing the company’s financial records, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, and supporting budgeting and cash flow management. This role requires:

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, journals, and invoices.
• Manage the company’s cash flow and ensure timely processing of payments and receipts.
• Prepare and monitor budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and reports (e.g., balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements).
• Assist in the coordination and preparation of internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare tax returns.
• Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable.
• Provide necessary documentation and support for financial audits.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data and reporting.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency.
• Stay updated on accounting standards, regulations, and best practices.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience & Skill: 1–2 years of experience in accounting or finance.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Peachtree, etc.) and MS Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with budgeting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
