Accountant

Job Summary

The Accountant will manage the day-to-day financial operations across manufacturing, coffee roasting, and retail cafe businesses. The role is responsible for tracking production costs, managing inventory valuations, reconciling daily cafe cash flows, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. A critical requirement is advanced, hands-on proficiency in Peachtree Accounting software, which is central to the company’s financial system.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date daily financial records across all business divisions using Peachtree Accounting
• Track and analyze manufacturing and coffee roasting production costs, including raw materials, labor, and overheads
• Oversee and reconcile inventory data between manufacturing, roasting facility, and cafe retail outlets
• Perform daily and monthly bank, cash, vendor, and customer reconciliations
• Ensure retail cafe POS data aligns with the main ledger
• Prepare and submit monthly statutory tax declarations (VAT, Withholding Tax, Employee Income Tax) in compliance with regulations
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, balance sheets, and profit/loss reports

Job Requirements & Qualifications

Education

• BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field

Experience

• Minimum of 4–5 years of progressive accounting experience

Mandatory Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Peachtree Accounting Software is mandatory
• Ability to navigate the system, set up charts of accounts, and generate complex reports independently
• Candidates will undergo a practical Peachtree assessment during the interview process

Soft Skills

• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and analytical thinking
• Ability to multitask and switch between manufacturing and retail accounting environments
