Job Summary
The Cameraman & Video Editor is responsible for capturing, producing, and editing high-quality visual content for company events, promotional materials, documentaries, and social media platforms. The role requires strong technical skills in videography, post-production editing, and creative storytelling while ensuring timely delivery of professional video content.
Key Responsibilities
- Cover company meetings, events, and activities as the lead videographer.
- Plan and execute video shoots, including camera setup, lighting, and audio recording.
- Edit event, promotional, documentary, and social media videos.
- Perform video post-production tasks including color grading, audio editing, motion graphics, and subtitle creation in English and Amharic.
- Deliver high-quality video content within strict deadlines.
- Maintain proper organization and daily backup of recorded media files.
- Collaborate with management and creative teams to develop video concepts and execute creative ideas.
- Work flexible hours when required to support company events and production activities.
- Manage the complete video production process from filming to final delivery.
Educational Qualification and Experience
- Proven experience in professional videography, camera operation, and video production.
- Portfolio of previous video production work is required.
Technical Skills and Requirements
- Strong knowledge of professional cameras, lighting equipment, and audio recording systems.
- Advanced skills in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Lightroom is an advantage.
- Ability to perform color correction, audio editing, motion graphics, and subtitle integration.
- Own camera equipment and editing laptop.
- Ability to direct video shoots and manage production activities effectively.
- Proficiency in English and Amharic languages.
- Availability to travel locally for assignments.
