Developing a Comprehensive Charging Infrastructure:- CAWIN Mobility has identified the need for a network of charging stations to support their electric vehicles across Nigeria Ethiopia and other target African markets. This infrastructure is crucial for the feasibility and widespread adoption of their EVs, and we are invest in its development.
Building Local Expertise and an After-Sales Service Network: -The Company emphasizes the requirement for a skilled local workforce capable of repairing, maintaining, and servicing EVs. To address this, we have initiated free training programs for local mechanics and engineering students and are establishing a nationwide after-sales service network to provide reliable support and spare parts supply.
Job summary:
We are seeking a results-oriented and strategic After-Sales Director to lead our auto maintenance factory's service and client retention operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all post-sale activities, including maintenance, repairs, warranty claims, and customer service, ensuring exceptional service delivery and sustained profitability. This leadership role requires a proven track record in driving operational efficiencies, managing P&L, fostering strong client relationships, and leading high-performing technical teams in the automotive sector. The director will define the after-sales strategy, optimize workflow processes, and ensure all services meet the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction

Key responsibilities
- Take charge of the preliminary preparation for the auto maintenance factory in Addis Ababa: lead site selection research (considering transportation convenience, surrounding traffic flow, and rental costs), formulate decoration plans (meeting maintenance factory safety standards and new energy vehicle maintenance workstation requirements), and promote the implementation of preparation work.
- Be fully responsible for the daily operation and management of the maintenance factory: formulate maintenance service processes (e.g., vehicle reception, damage assessment, maintenance, vehicle delivery), control maintenance quality and timeliness, and optimize costs (e.g., spare parts procurement costs, labor costs).
- Establish an employee training system: formulate technical training plans (e.g., three-electric system maintenance, engine fault diagnosis) based on the maintenance factory's business needs (e.g., new energy vehicle maintenance, traditional fuel vehicle maintenance) to improve employees' professional skills and service awareness.
- Lead technical research on new energy vehicle maintenance, solve difficult problems during maintenance (e.g., battery faults, electronic control system issues), and establish a technical case database.
- Be responsible for supply chain management: connect with local and international auto spare parts suppliers (especially new energy vehicle spare parts), establish stable supply channels, ensure the quality and supply timeliness of spare parts, and manage inventory levels.
Qualification
- Education: College degree or above; majors in Auto Maintenance Engineering or Vehicle Engineering are preferred.
- Experience: At least 5 years of work experience in large auto maintenance factories (with at least 3 years of management experience); experience in independently establishing or preparing auto maintenance factories is a plus; familiarity with new energy vehicle (especially mainstream brands) maintenance technology is preferred.
- Professional Competence: Proficient in auto maintenance technology (covering traditional fuel vehicles and new energy vehicles), master the operation and management logic of maintenance factories (e.g., process optimization, cost control), and possess supply chain resource integration and employee training abilities
- Soft Skills: Possess strong problem-solving and team management abilities; able to formulate clear operational goals and implementation plans; fluent in Amharic, and English as a working language.
- Others: Understand the regulations and environmental protection standards of Ethiopia's auto maintenance industry, ensure the compliant operation of the maintenance factory; have strong pressure resistance and adapt to multi-scenario work needs of the maintenance factory.
Other Requirements
- Good Technical Expertise: In-depth professional knowledge of both traditional and new energy vehicle maintenance technology and industry quality standards.
- Strategic P&L Management: Proven ability to manage Profit and Loss statements effectively to ensure departmental profitability and make sound business decisions.
