Young Roots English International School, a Cambridge-accredited private school in Addis Ababa, is seeking a passionate and qualified Art Teacher to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Art lessons that align with the Cambridge curriculum.
- Foster creativity and self-expression in students through a variety of artistic mediums.
- Assess and monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Organize exhibitions and display students’ artwork within the school community.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate art across the curriculum where appropriate.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and inspiring classroom environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related field
- Valid teaching license/certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a Cambridge or international school setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities.
