Job Summary
Minaye PLC is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assembly Officer to oversee the planning, coordination, and follow-up of assembly operations. The ideal candidate will have a background in business administration or a related field, with experience in furniture assembly, after-sales service, or a similar role. The Assembly Officer will ensure timely execution of assembly tasks, handle customer complaints, assign and supervise technicians, and provide regular reports to the designated team.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning and scheduling assembly operations to meet deadlines.
- Monitoring and ensuring the efficient execution of assembly tasks.
- Coordinating with logistics and warehouse teams for material availability.
- Assigning tasks to assembly technicians based on workload and skills.
- Supervising and evaluating technician performance.
- Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Addressing and resolving customer complaints related to assembly issues.
- Maintaining records of complaints and corrective actions taken.
- Preparing and submitting timely reports on assembly progress, delays, and challenges.
- Communicating updates to relevant departments (sales, logistics, customer service).
- Assisting in post-installation follow-ups and warranty claims.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction through prompt service delivery.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Degree in Business Administration, Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum 6 months to 1 year in assembly coordination, after-sales service, or furniture industry roles.
- Experience supervising technicians or teams is a plus.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong organizational and planning abilities.
- Problem-solving skills for handling customer complaints.
- Basic knowledge of furniture assembly processes/materials.
- Proficiency in reporting tools (Excel, ERP systems).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
