Associate Network Management Officer

Job Summary:

The Associate Network Management Officer is responsible for supporting the design, implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of the organization’s network infrastructure. The role ensures stable, secure, and efficient network performance to support business operations and service delivery.

Educational Qualification:

• BSc in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.

Work Experience:

• 1 year of experience as Junior Network Management Officer or equivalent experience in the banking industry, OR
• 1 year of experience as Associate Network Management Officer or equivalent experience in network administration or IT infrastructure support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support installation, configuration, and maintenance of network systems.
• Monitor network performance and ensure system availability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues in a timely manner.
• Assist in managing LAN, WAN, and wireless network infrastructure.
• Support network security measures and access controls.
• Assist in implementing network upgrades and system improvements.
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and configuration records.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for technical support.
• Support backup and disaster recovery processes for network systems.

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of computer networks and infrastructure.
• Knowledge of routing, switching, and network protocols.
• Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools is an advantage.
